Reflection #1
wow, I have learned so much since the beginning of the semester!!! I am really excited about all the new info that I have acquired. Before any of our class sessions, i did not think much about technology in education and its various uses and benefits. I can truly say that because of this class my students will benefit from the use of technology in the classroom. While I am still a big advocate for traditional teaching, I think it is crucial to use technology in classroom because this will benefit the students and enhance their learning in way we cannot imagine. I believe that the use of such devices as SmartBoard encourages student participation and gives students a larger variety of learning methods.

I agree with you, Liliya. Before this class, I thought that technology consisted of a computer and a television. Boy, was I wrong! I, too, am a tradition teacher (in a good sense), but I am seeing the importance of integrating good, traditional teaching with the latest technology to better engage the students. Also, it's more than simply engaging, but by integrating technology, students can better learning environment that the students are more used to. This class has been so great!
