in general i liked the article and thought it pointed out interesting views. i thought that some of the ideas concerning using video camera in classroom were great and could be very useful in the classroom. i especially liked it because it is a great way to communicate with parents and show them what their children have been doing in school. also it is a great way to track progress of students and capture interesting moments.
however i think that student learning should not be solely what they are doing but also how well they are doing whatever they are are doing-- i think it should be a combination of both. i think that video cameras are a great tool to use in the classroom but i still think that grades are important and is a way to help students set higher standards and do not slack behind other students in the nation or the world.
