Reflection #5

I must say that before attending this class I was somehow technologically ignorant- meaning I did not think about the importance of technology in education. Honestly, I had no idea what we were going to learn – I thought this class would teach us the use of simple technology, the technology I used when attending school. However, I did not even imagine that after attending this class I would receive such an insight into so many different educational uses of technology.
We have met less than eight times together as a class, but already I have learned so much. This class forced me to think of issues in education that I had no idea existed and thus helped me to be more prepared for the task of teaching.
My two favorite things to learn in this class were Smart Board and delicious.com. Both of these tools are really cool! And surely, I am planning to use them in my classroom.
I am very happy to be in this class and am very excited about upcoming things we are going to learn.!!
